A BLUES LIFE

I am born and raised in Friesland, in the North of the Netherlands. When the BLUES struck me in 1972, I was 21 years of age. Now I am 65. This paperback is about those over forty years in between.

A BLUES LIFE part  1,                         in 11 stories from a Dutch point of view and

A BLUES LIFE part 2,                         directly from Mississippi in the deep south of the U.S.A. -A Dutchman in the Delta- covers 14 stories.

I cannot read a musical note,  sing, nor play a piano or a guitar. But I wrote about it: In this book you will find 25 true, short stories about the Blues and Boogie Woogie, that devilish music.

English is not my native tongue. I have done my utmost to avoid mistakes.
